About Us
Shree Kalyanika Himalaya Dev Sthanam is a vision of a Yogi who after attaining the state of extreme joy and bliss, returns to his fellow beings to show them the path of the real glory. As only a burning candle can light the other one, the real wisdom can only be achieved through a wise master.

Param Pujya Babaji emphasizes on Vedic methodology of life where the restoration of balance is the main key ingredient. According to the Sanatana tradition- one is responsible for ones own predicament. This is quite practical to take the onus and find out the ways of utilizing the human form, which by and large comes as a gift from the lord. The Nature surrounding us teaches a great deal about the art of balancing, that's why this Ashram serves as a resource for the seekers who want to tread on the path of Spiritual Science.

During his second visit to Kailash Mansarovar (the holy abode of Lord Shiva), Pujya Babaji had a vision of Ma Bhagvati (Mother Goddess)and decided to build a centre for spiritual aspirants in Himalayasand - Shree Kalyanika Himalaya Dev Sthanam- came into existence.

The Ashram is dedicated towards fulfilling the needs of spiritual seekers and provides the opportunity to become a part of the nature by staying in its close vicinity. The Santana tradition believes in the sanskaras, which says that the surrounding environment triggers the hidden potentialities of a being. Most of the time our senses are engrossed in mundane things so deeply that it becomes almost difficult to notice the subtle changes. These un-noticed subtle potentialities get stored in the mind and needs stimulation to be realized. That is why the purification of environment is one of the most important aspects of the Spiritual Science, so that the mind gets filled with the pure sanskaras.

This Ashram welcomes everyone who wants to practice spiritual.

Founder
Param Pujya Tapaswi Baba Kalyan Das ji was born in a small Himalayan village of Almora (Uttarakhand), left home inspired by the series of divine events at the tender age of 12 and started his spiritual voyage. He submitted himself to the revered master Paramhamsa Swaroop Das ji who took him through the initiation. The divine initiation ignited the will to know thou self. The visions of mystical Narmada (the river which symbolizes the Kundalini Shakti) showed the path of tapasya (penance) which ultimately lead to the enlightening of the worthy son of Narmada. Wisdom comes accompanied with the gift of discriminative power which transforms a human to become a super human. The love for fellow beings compelled Pujya Babaji to come back after more than 40 years of penance and show the divine path of inner awakening to the fellow beings. By that time many people had already got attracted by the aura of the true yogi and sadhaka. In 1978 taking the path of Lord Rama and Acarya Shi Chandra to educate people and to lift the condition of their lives Babaji established Shree Kalyan Sewa Ashram in Amarkantak an ancient pilgrimage, birth place of the holy river Narmada, home for many tribes. During his second visit to Kailash Mansarovar, Pujya Babaji had a vision of Ma Bhagvati (Mother Goddess) and got inspired to start an Ashram in Himalayas and Pujya Babaji established Shree Kalyanika Himalaya Dev Sthanam amid dense forest near Almora.
